Episode #204 | Ducdame Ensemble | Theater

The first words of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” are: “If music be the food of love, play on.” That tells us something about two of the themes in the multi-layered play, music and love. The amazing NYC-based Ducdame’ Ensemble, in one of their visits to Santa Fe, are presenting two Shakespeare plays, one, the gender-bending “Twelfth Night” and “Merchant of Venice”. “Twelfth Night”, offered as Meow Wolf, and “Merchant of Venice” at Santa Fe High School.

Ducdame Ensemble members were trained at and hold Master’s degrees in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), a graduate school offering holistic classical training combining Alexander Technique, Laban, Clowning, and Improv.
