Joey Wilson is an organizational consultant, designer, tinkerer and singer / songwriter. In 1984, Joey's father, Larry Wilson, in what he would later describe as a failed attempt at retirement, purchased a 2000-acre ranch along the Pecos River.
They would christen it The Pecos River Learning Center - a 2000-acre classroom and a learning space so large that it couldn’t hold a small idea. The center became an experiential learning facility where individuals could reinvent themselves, and, in turn, the organizations for which they worked. And the center of that center was a huge and terrifying ropes course.
For Joey, the family business was like a graduate course in organizational development and would later cofound CultureLogic, a consulting firm that continues to help organizations optimize their culture.
With one foot firmly planted in the business world, his other lifelong passion is music and songwriting, a craft he has been tweaking for over 30 years. He says this balance between business and art is what has allowed him to keep his heart engaged in both.
